It used to be that you associated water fountains with the super-rich, in ornate gardens and homes; not anymore.  Today, more and more people are enjoying the tranquility that having the sound of trickling water can bring to a person.  With advances in technology and design, water fountains are popping up everywhere.   Everywhere from back yard escapes to simple desktop models… plus you don’t have to spend tens of thousands.

-          Map out the area that you want the fountain.  Lay things out on paper.  Figure out what will fit and what won’t

-          Make a list of things that you will need if you are building your own.  Pumps, liners, lighting.

-          Ask for help.  Most retail supply stores will be more than happy to look over your design, give you ideas or suggestions and help you pull all the items that you will need.

Overall, indoor water fountains and outdoor water fountains can turn an ordinary area of your home or garden into a luxurious and soothing retreat.  All it takes is a little imagination and you can be taking your mind off the stress of the day in minutes.
